**And then there’s Lex.

My beautiful, valiant, foolishly young Lex. If ever there was an episode that made me think that Lex is too good for Clark why yes, this would be it. Of course, it also reminded me that a) Clark is most definitely just sixteen. Behaviour such as his, well, temper temper anybody? b) Lex is still very young as well. For all the tough talk, dude, he was hurt, and who the fuck could blame him?

He still wants approval, and it drives him mental when he doesn’t get it. He loves Lionel even though he really doesn't want to, and that’s just gotta fucking hurt cos he’s a bastard of the first degree.

While were on Lex, how many of us were thinking that if Clark had been anybody else, Lex would have delivered a SFD (Smackdown of the First Degree) when Clark tried to get on the Holier-Than-Thou-Bus (TM)

But you know, I really dug this episode. It gets three and a half slices of Velveeta. The half is for putting Lex in that hot blood red shirt.
