You know, since I’m already dammed

Okay, you know that bit the other day when I said I wanted Everwood icons, and then people actually made them?
Wow.
::thinks real hard::
- I want Dominic Monaghan waiting for me, naked, in my bed when I get home.
- I want a billion dollars.
- I want gay porn on Smallville.
- I want the fifth, sixth and seventh HP books to come out this year.
- I want my student loans to go away.
What? Didn’t your mum ever tell you to aim high?
In other news:
Smallville people: if you have not met the knockout known as
rageprufrock, go say 'hi' her right now. And then read ‘Woo’. And ‘Psychobabble’, and tell her to finish them, damnit
LOTRips people:
ethrosdemon has decided to become a 47 y.o. male who wants to be king. I swear to god, it doesn’t get much better than when she puts her mind to writing stuff like this.
HP people: I’m on hiatus until I think of something good.
Everwood people: The below is for you. :)
Everwood
Practice
Thanks to
frenchhippie and
karone for the lovely icons.
Colin never learned to write with his left hand, so he practices as much as he can.
Ephram can’t talk to Amy without being bitter, so he practices his piano at night instead of thinking of her.
Amy can’t think of Colin without thinking of Ephram as well, so she works harder in cheerleading practice and pretends not to notice when Colin ignores her.
Bright still gets to run drills in practice, but it’s not the same without Colin.

Colin never learned to write with his left hand, so he practices as much as he can. Every night before he goes to bed he fills sheets of notebook paper with his name.
Ephram can’t talk to Amy without being bitter, so he practices his piano at night instead of thinking of her. Sometimes he plays these dark, crashing pieces and doesn’t know where they come from.
Amy can’t think of Colin without thinking of Ephram as well, so she works harder in cheerleading practice and pretends not to notice when Colin ignores her. She knows that he prefers Ephram’s company to hers these days.
Bright still gets to run drills in practice, but it’s not the same without Colin. His dribbling is off, and every time he looks down the lane to pass, he finds himself expecting someone who's not there.

Colin never learned to write with his left hand, so he practices as much as he can. Every night before he goes to bed he fills sheets of notebook paper with his name. He’s having problems perfecting the ‘m’ in Ephram, but maybe tomorrow is the day that he’ll be able to say what’s on his mind and the scratchings on paper will become obsolete.
Ephram can’t talk to Amy without being bitter, so he practices his piano at night instead of thinking of her. Sometimes he plays these dark, crashing pieces and doesn’t know where they come from. They remind him of the look on Colin’s face when he thought that Ephram was going to judge him for smashing in the window of the truck.
Amy can’t think of Colin without thinking of Ephram as well, so she works harder in cheerleading practice and pretends not to notice when Colin ignores her. She knows that he prefers Ephram’s company to hers these days. She tries not to let it bother her, except that Colin used to look at her that way.
Bright still gets to run drills in practice, but it’s not the same without Colin. His dribbling is off, and every time he looks down the lane to pass, he finds himself expecting someone who’s not there. When his gaze flickers to Colin sitting in the stands, Bright notices the way Colin's eyes light up when Ephram comes through the door, and then Bright’s not sure what he’s practicing for.

At night they go home and try to forget what they learned during the day; but the urge to practice, to make things perfect, never seems to go away.

That inspires ideas in just those two sentences.
I must ask, after Ephram/Colin (who we all adore the most), which pairing do you like better? Ephram/Bright or Bright/Colin? :D
