it's at 8:24 and i'm still at work because the slavedrivers that i call friends (you know who you are) have expressly told me that smut must come in part six. this is draining. this is hard fucking work. i wanna go hoooooome! all the same, i'm fucking around waiting to hear back from one or two people and i'm wondering something rather existentialist - well for me at any rate.

the question of the day is, do you think you, or anyone for that matter, can ever be satisified? is there really such a thing as enough?

okay, enough of that, going back to sweating blood now.

Yes and no. Does that answer your question? I think at any one point in your life you can be satisfied with what you have and who you are. To me, that is success. Not the money you make or the *cough* car you drive. But saying that, as human beings we need to want, to strive for something, otherwise we don’t fulfil one of our main needs and desires. That is, self actualisation. Some pop psych 101 bullshit.

When we are completely stagnant in our growth we are unhappy, that’s why we call it a rut.
