1. I have LJ codes if anybody needs some.
2. I’m pondering what to do with this LJ, so if you lot could answer this question for me I'd appreciate it:

Smallville
The Consort
1. ashes of american flags
Lex was not the last son.
Lucas was the last son, which meant that Lex was never going to rule. But Lex has never been that good with the ‘if and then’ school of thought. Lex has always had other plans. If you can’t beat them, join them, or something to that effect. Whatever the case, certainly don’t let the proverbial ‘them’ get away.
Do not, under any circumstances, allow 'them' to take all the credit. Make deals. Make offers. Take what is yours by right of birth.
The world belongs to Lex.
The world is not enough.
This is where Clark comes in.
2. kamera
Lex has always known the truth.
Or he’s always known some semblance of the truth.
He had wanted the words for formality’s sake. But they were never said. They were just assumed in light of the thousands of pictures and millions of deeds. There were vials and dented cars and all sorts of proof. Lex has never actually needed the proof, but he collected it anyway.
Just because he could. Because he can.
Lex does a lot of things just because he can.
The first time Clark’s spectacle-free visage christened the front page of the Daily Planet, Lex bought out every newsstand in a five-block radius.
3. jesus, etc.
It’s the Messiah complex in living, breathing spandex. The color is awful.
The boots and cape are even worse.
Lex lost that argument; he doesn’t lose that many. Truthfully, he didn’t fight this one very hard, because everyone should make concessions every now and then. In the spirit of benevolence.
In the spirit of being seen as obliging.
A true alpha male always makes his wishes someone else’s idea: it could have been all red.
If Clark is the Messiah, then Lex is God.
Lex may stand at the right hand of The Champion, but he’s the one pulling the strings.
Lex is no one’s consort.
4. i am trying to break your heart
It's not simple.
It never will be.
There will never be a happily ever after.
They have accepted this. They've had no choice.
5. poor places
Lex left Smallville one cool August afternoon, several years ago. He packed up his clothing, his personal effects and his staff. He did not say good-bye to anyone. He has not been back since then.
The castle was razed shortly after he left, along with everything that remained.
Clark goes back to Smallville at least twice a month. He never asks Lex to come with him, Lex doesn’t ask.
They don’t talk about personal things.
They don’t talk about a lot of things.
There are some rocks that are better left alone.
6. i’m the man who loves you
It is love. Of a certain kind. Or a certain breed.
They could never be with anyone else.
Of course other people wouldn’t understand this, but then again other people are not Lex and Clark.
Other people are not meant to understand that when the President builds Kryptonite warheads, he does it for the good of The Champion of the People. That he does it for the love of a man he claims to hate.
The proverbial thin line between love and hate is actually very very thin.
It’s non-existent for Clark and Lex.
Without one there is no other.
For them, this is love.
