I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."
I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.
My personal goal is: to get over my writer's block, write my Obscure Santa thingy, and perhaps do something illegal this weekend.
I aim high.

Date: 2003-12-11 05:00 pm (UTC)About me: I lurk, heavily. After a year of checking 20 different LJs daily for fic, I finally decided to open a LJ account and let LJ do it for me. I love your OC fic so much that it’s made me like the show more. The only other fic I read is lotrips, with which my spousal equivalent is finally coming to grips. For so many reasons, I think that the Clash is the best rock band ever. Every year, I plant about 45 tomato plants and eat tomatoes at every meal for months and get stomach ulcers.

Date: 2003-12-12 02:38 pm (UTC)I think canned veggies are all of the bad, but I've never eaten then except in soup so I dunno where that prejudice comes from. I'm glad you liked my OC fic so much, and I agree The Clash do rock quite a bit.
