2. I put a windows upgrade on my machine at home because the bloody computer told me to, and why did nobody tell me that that fucks up all your shit?! Now nothing works! How do I get rid of it?

3. Oh right. They’ve cast Bart for Smallville. This is just a kid. This isn’t just a kid, he’s, like, not even approaching puberty yet. This isn't the future ex-Mr hackthis. Yes, it's hard (ahem) to overcome (double ahem) the double-shot of Ian/Tom hotness. However, I think DOMOS--the producers of SV--liked the whole "Ryan" storyline and want to do that again. Because heaven forfend if they do anything original.

I too put the Windows Upgrade on my computer, but I didn't even make it through the installation. About halfway through everything froze so I restarted and got the blue screen of death. Ended up having to reformat (which took 7 hours) then reinstall Windows and all of my programs. Does your system restore still work? That may be a less complicated way.

If you are running Windows XP:

Start>All Programs: Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

Then select - Restore my computer to an earlier time. Then you should be able to pick a date prior to when you updated with the new service pack. Your system creates new restore points at checkpoints and when you install new programs. So you should see a listing of the Service Pack installation, then pick just before that. I have had problems in the past with trying to do system restores, but this would be the first thing I would try to correct any problems.

I don't know who this clone is, I presume he must be one of Bart's clones. Did you know he can clone himself, or he used to but it freaked him out so he stopped. (story for another time) Anyhoo, this is not my flame-haired, orange-eyed boy, who is thisclose to being legal, so I won't be sent to jail like my brother for underage dealings. *takes deep breath* I'm vexed.
