I was flipping the channels on telly last night cos I ixnayed the Djing gig at the Nacional like a dumbass - and there was a retrospective on New Edition. I almost cried – it was my whole early adolescence full of hormones and not being nearly as jaded as I am now.

Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky,Mike and Ralph... and Johnny, but that was later. NEW EDITION people! Ahhh! On the other channel was hip-hop old skool though and when they cued up Rapper’s Delight I just about caused an accident.
