I'm tired and cranky and frustrated, but jonem made me all these lovely Thousandth Man icons, so I had to use one today, because I am trying to write the very last section, and there's a part of me that's really surprised I even made it this far. I was starting to think I would never write it. Yeah, anyroad, it struck me the other day that most people probably have no idea that the series is named for the poem by Kipling.

Over in her LJ, scribblinlenore mentioned being stuck indoors for a blizzard and how she thought it would be a great opportunity to spend some time getting to know some of the new people on my flist. Which I whole-heartedly agree.

So...tell me something about you. Favorite character. Favorite food. Something funny you do. Whatever you like. Just make it something that gives me a sense of who you are.

There's no pressure to participate, of course. If you'd rather just lurk, that's fine, too. But if you feel like coming out of the woodwork, I'd love to hear from you!

I think I do this like once a year and since I'm feeling a bit sour, and this exercise always makes me smile, I'll start...

1. I drink like six glasses of water a day,
2. I still read Smallville stories even though I don't watch the show anymore.
3. I love potatoes.
4. I love turtles; I plan to buy one as soon as I can afford the damn terrarium.
5. I think I would rather be blind than deaf since I can't imagine not listening to music.
