Over in her LJ, scribblinlenore mentioned being stuck indoors for a blizzard and how she thought it would be a great opportunity to spend some time getting to know some of the new people on my flist. Which I whole-heartedly agree.

So...tell me something about you. Favorite character. Favorite food. Something funny you do. Whatever you like. Just make it something that gives me a sense of who you are.

There's no pressure to participate, of course. If you'd rather just lurk, that's fine, too. But if you feel like coming out of the woodwork, I'd love to hear from you!

I think I do this like once a year and since I'm feeling a bit sour, and this exercise always makes me smile, I'll start...

1. I drink like six glasses of water a day,
2. I still read Smallville stories even though I don't watch the show anymore.
3. I love potatoes.
4. I love turtles; I plan to buy one as soon as I can afford the damn terrarium.
5. I think I would rather be blind than deaf since I can't imagine not listening to music.

Hmm. Ok. Let's see. I'm relatively loud, personality wise (but friendly! At least, I think I am *g*) I hate driving short distances to work and such, but love taking long car trips. it's snowing here too, I might as well play.

I changed names and locations, and added a new character, but it was basically the exact same plot. I had no idea I had done anything wrong until my teacher pulled me aside and I learned my new word for the day :). It is the first and only time I have ever actually written fanfic.

Yes, I can see how that would put a crimp on a burgeoning writer.
