Over in her LJ, scribblinlenore mentioned being stuck indoors for a blizzard and how she thought it would be a great opportunity to spend some time getting to know some of the new people on my flist. Which I whole-heartedly agree.

So...tell me something about you. Favorite character. Favorite food. Something funny you do. Whatever you like. Just make it something that gives me a sense of who you are.

There's no pressure to participate, of course. If you'd rather just lurk, that's fine, too. But if you feel like coming out of the woodwork, I'd love to hear from you!

I think I do this like once a year and since I'm feeling a bit sour, and this exercise always makes me smile, I'll start...

1. I drink like six glasses of water a day,
2. I still read Smallville stories even though I don't watch the show anymore.
3. I love potatoes.
4. I love turtles; I plan to buy one as soon as I can afford the damn terrarium.
5. I think I would rather be blind than deaf since I can't imagine not listening to music.

6. I dislike cats. A lot. I'm allergic to them, and believe they are actually evil creatures bent on world domination. As I am also bent on world domination, waiting on ethrosdemon to take it over, you can see why this is a problem. <-- gacked and bastardizard from musesfool

**ETN: I meant to mention this ages ago, but the LJPTB are reimbursing paid users an additional two weeks of time due to last week's outage or shortage or whatever it's being called. If you pay, use this, and people I've bought account time you better fucking use this for real, I want my money's worth!

01. My first English word was "NO!". The second? "Zucchini."
02. When at parties, I tend to end up in the kitchen. I'm not entirely sure why.
03. Every two years or so, I build up enough commercial tension and monetary resources to finance one major purchase. The last two times it was guitars. This year I just put half down on the motorcycle boots (http://www.daytonboots.com) I've wanted since 1997.
04. I'm currently partway through a major career shift.
05. My fear of commitment has only recently begun to fade.
