You know it's bound to be a good birthday when it starts off with chocolate cake, champagne and Zero 7, and then there's belly-dancing and a screening of Syriana. Oh George, even 30 lbs. heavier, you are still insanely hot.

Thank you all SO much for the birthday wishes, which I, uh haven't had a chance to look at or respond to, but which are very much loved and appreciated. I have to go now because I'm late for my birthday dinner.

Oh man, I'm freaking. 11 More Days. I've been waiting for years and now that it's almost here I don't know if I can bear it. Yep, I understand the maudlin/excited mix.

FUCK!!!!!!! I just checked to make sure that Chicago gets the film on the 9th like NY, LA and SF and it doesn't open in this fucking provincial backwater until the 16th.

I don't belong here and things like this really make me wonder what the hell I'm doing.
