hackthis_archiveI am taking an extended break at the moment. I do hope everyone is well, or at least treading water with a life jacket. I don't have much to say about anything at this point, because other people's asshattery only makes the baby Ari irritable, so I will just post the links and be done with it.
a) Brad Fitz has given notice to Six Apart, which really does say a lot. Thanks Larita.
b) I have been instructed to make an Insane Journal, so I did, under the same user name, but I'm not really that bothered.

d) I continue to think Burn Notice is the best thing since grilled cheese with butter on the inside. Michael continues to be queerer than a three-dollar bill, and I now consider it canon that on his first date with Sark, Julian did the quick knife game (the one where you hold down someone's hand and stab between their splayed fingers with a knife) on Michael as foreplay.
e) I finally saw Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix the other day (I wasn't that bothered to be honest) and have to say that if the book had been as half as good as the movie I might not have burned it in irritation. Neville FTW. And, no, I don't have any Deathly Hallows thoughts that you couldn't suss out on your own.

Date: 2007-08-06 11:05 pm (UTC)Seriously I feel the same amount of love for Burn Notice. I just adore everything about Michael. One of the best things was that he actually liked his job - it's so rare that being a spy is a happy job for people on tv shows, it's all about tha angst. Bah, Michael likes it and is really very good at it. That is so sexy.
But, the absolutely best thing about it is the amount I clothes that he wears - I don't know if it's intentional on the shows part, but Michael is always turned out in suit pieces - jacket, dress pants, dress shirt - in Miami, in the summer, and he always looks cool and fab. Then they will give teases of skin - the tank shirt from the last episode was just arms-errifc. Heck a squee-ed at little at the previews for the next episode where he'll be running around without a shirt on.
