I am taking an extended break at the moment. I do hope everyone is well, or at least treading water with a life jacket. I don't have much to say about anything at this point, because other people's asshattery only makes the baby Ari irritable, so I will just post the links and be done with it.

a) Brad Fitz has given notice to Six Apart, which really does say a lot. Thanks Larita.

b) I have been instructed to make an Insane Journal, so I did, under the same user name, but I'm not really that bothered.

d) I continue to think Burn Notice is the best thing since grilled cheese with butter on the inside. Michael continues to be queerer than a three-dollar bill, and I now consider it canon that on his first date with Sark, Julian did the quick knife game (the one where you hold down someone's hand and stab between their splayed fingers with a knife) on Michael as foreplay.

e) I finally saw Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix the other day (I wasn't that bothered to be honest) and have to say that if the book had been as half as good as the movie I might not have burned it in irritation. Neville FTW. And, no, I don't have any Deathly Hallows thoughts that you couldn't suss out on your own.

f) I do hope that you'll stop over to allvoodooanyway and leave some good thoughts and/or porn for the much beloved scribblinlenore.

Seriously I feel the same amount of love for Burn Notice. I just adore everything about Michael. One of the best things was that he actually liked his job - it's so rare that being a spy is a happy job for people on tv shows, it's all about tha angst. Bah, Michael likes it and is really very good at it. That is so sexy.

But, the absolutely best thing about it is the amount I clothes that he wears - I don't know if it's intentional on the shows part, but Michael is always turned out in suit pieces - jacket, dress pants, dress shirt - in Miami, in the summer, and he always looks cool and fab. Then they will give teases of skin - the tank shirt from the last episode was just arms-errifc. Heck a squee-ed at little at the previews for the next episode where he'll be running around without a shirt on.

Also, Adrian and Milo are going on the world tour thingy together. Jack and Hayden are going with them, so its kind of like the Petrelli Family Goes to Europe. But mostly it's all about Adrian and Milo sharing hotel rooms and getting into trouble together.

I'll let you know as soon as I stop cracking up hysterically. Really. Mostly b/c now I'm all 'Shit! Why didn't *I* comment?!' Also, I see you are finally on board the Psych train too. That only took FOREVA! Burn Notice is still my current favorite shiny toy -- I mean, just look at Michael, how can he not win. And yet, you know, Psych is very OT3 with the Gus/Shawn/Lassie. Lassie. The writers win for that alone.

I think I'm liking Psych more than Burn Notice right now which is surprising because stuff blows up on Burn Notice and Michael is really, really pretty, but I love Lassie so much. I loved that actor on Deadwood when he was playing a total moron, so I shuold have known I was trouble, but Lassie has nice eyes and nice hands and the best smile ever and I get sad when they are mean to him because he is Lassie and he is awesome and his awesomeness should be acknowledged.

I think I am all about the Shawn/Lassie and Gus deserving someone nicer. I've decided that at some point he meets up with Ando and they hang out and have a fabulous time making fun of their insane best friends who they can't help but adore. And they talk about how the two of them should just run away together because they would have a great time, but they always come up with excuses not to and they never say exactly why they can't, but they each totally understand the other one.
