kattiya told me of a legend. The legend of James Dean and Paul Newman. Yes, pause. Breathe. The story goes that Paul Newman and James Dean did a screen test years ago for East of Eden, which you know, is a lot of hotass in one place, but the money shot being that they were involved. I was understandably dubious. And then I saw the clip below.
Whether the shenanigans went down before, during or after this test I'll let you judge, but let me tell you, I can't even call this UST. I know couples that don't ignite like this. In fact, let's call it, askattiya says, "There is stuff happening." You cannot listen to Paul's nervous laugh, see the way he looks at Jimmy, or the way they mention *kissing* and call this straight.
The only straight thing here is the camera angle. Enjoy, babies.

Damn, now I want Ari meeting with Brad/Alex/Okay I admit it: they are both one in my mind, and being all hilariously snarky and generally Ari-ish and calling Stark/Nate Brad's girlfriend a la your Kingdom of the Blaggers and then Nate being all badass about it and Brad being all amused at seeing Ari, High Ruler of Hollywood up against Nate's Glare of Doom and then later at home Nate's like 'it's okay, I am your girlfriend really' but in that sweet, mischievous, non-emasculating way he has down so well and Brad's all 'we need to have sex NOW.'
... Okay so I just descended into calling them Brad and Nate. I clearly believe in just one version of reality.
Also, a very Happy Birthday for tomorrow! :)
