As it stands, my agent would kill me if she knew I'd set the rewrite aside to spend six weeks working on a fanfic, but it's actually been a really positive thing. I've gotten so much kind feedback (like yours, thanks so much) that I'm feeling really up about my work again. But she'll never know, anyway - bwahahaha.

don't worry, we won't tell her, though i think it's important to take a break every now and then. i know it may not seem very prudent, but it's good to clear your head and do something fun - all work and no play can wreak havoc on the imagination.
