I’ve been trying to figure out what the fuck ails me, apart from various medical things, and the answer seems to be that I’m in a rut. All sorts of things I never thought I’d do, I’ve done:

Multi-fandom - AtS, SV, HP, Everwood, LOTRips
RPS – see LOTRips
Blatant Drug Usage – See ‘When I Was Born for the Seventh Time’
Murder/Killing of Major Characters – See ‘Year of the Dragon’ and pretty much every HP story
Incest – Lex/Lucas, yes please.
Crossover – SV/Batman
Het – Yes, I really did write some Chloe/Clark back in the day, never said it was happy
Mary-Sue (ish) – I wrote a wee bit for Hope’s progeny yesterday.
I even write happy shit on occasion.

I’m seeking a new thrill. So far I’ve heard Evil!Clark, which simply doesn’t interest me – meglomania rarely does – or President!Lex which sadly doesn’t interest me either. Draco and Lucas have also been dangled, but I’m just not feeling it.

Angles? Suggestions? Bribery? Help?

I’m seeking a new thrill.

Hook Pete and Chloe up and try to do it in the near-, rather than distant-, future (by near-future I mean, within the years likely to be covered by the show, i.e., while they're all still in hig school). How would Clark react to two of his best friends hooking up like that? To losing Chloe's attention? what kind of strain would it put on Pete/Chloe that he knows this big thing he can't tell her? Come on, you know you want to. Chloe deserves somebody who'd really love her and Pete just deserves fic-love period. Bonus points if you can work in Pete somehow making peace with Lex. ;-)

As for reccing stories... No matter what I recc I'd probably forget something really good. You should check out wereadshite which is just one big list of recc sites. Also, rosenho tends to have a great variety of recc's on her website, so going there, would probably help. You could also put out a general request on your LJ and I'm sure people would help :)
